WAAS CE backup

Hi,

Is there any way to schedule a backup of the WAAS Central Manager to a remote server.

Whether there is a way to use the crontab service from the WAE device.

since the device looks like linux os why we are not able to access/change the directries ( ex :/ruby/bin,/sw/merlot,/ruby/bin etc).

Hi Bala,

I'm afraid there isn't

Your best approach would be using a expect on an external Linux machine that will make it telnet into the central manager and launch the backup.

I wish I had a better answer
