WAAS Connection speed across asymmetric link

I am deploying 2 WAE's (4.0.13) across an assymmetric link (i.e. 256k in one direction, 128K in the other). This is for a POC and both units are inline.

I have two questions :

1. Will it work (accelerate) across a link like this ?

2. When configuring the connection speed for the WAFS connectivity directive (CIFS), what will the connection speed be , 128k or 256k ?

Answers to your questions:

1. Yes, this should be fine.

2. What is the bandwidth for the Core --> Edge direction. I would start with that one.
