waas mobile problem

the customer has installed WAAS mobile client on a notebook. When he uses IE - the http is compressed and optimized. But when he run some web application (it is based on http) over wan - the optimization doesn't work:-( Do you know where is problem??? Thank you.

By default, the WAAS mobile client starts when the user logs into the PC. Very likely the user will need to VPN first before he can login to the network so or login first then VPN in.
