WAE-512 disk space

Hello all,

I am getting alarms from several WAEs stating that disk space is below 10%,  this is a PRTG message, but I am wondering if there is way to configure the WAE to avoid reaching that utilization level. Something that might allow us to clear some of the oldest log files from the disk when the utilization reaches 11%.

I really appreciate your help with this.

Hi,

Do you get this alarm from the WAAS devices themselves or is it generated by your NMS station that is monitoring the accelerator?

It is expected to have high disk usage on the WAAS since it uses all of the space he can get to store the DRE and CIFS caches.

There are mechanisms (Cache eviction for instance) that do prevent the disk from getting completely full so if you are getting this alarm from your NMS station, it can be safely avoided.

I am also having the same issue. High Disk utilization. Anyway to reduce disk utilization.
