Whether to disable spanning-tree on CSS11506

Preparing to deploy CSS11506 in router mode. Is it better to disable spanning-tree on the CSS and enable portfast on both switch and CSS? I think that will have better startup or failover time. Anyone has insight or any pitfall should be avoid? What's best or comment practice in this kind of deployment?

I personally also disable spanning-tree on the CSS and enable portfast on the upstream switch.

As you said, it will improve failover time.
