One of the most uncomfortable experience is to apply config changes to UC320, since the action will trigger the UC320 to reboot and cause downtime. I assume this is because the UC320 is up running on XML config file, and requires to reload from updated/modified XML file once the new changes are applied.
Does Cisco have a plan to optimize this design that requires no downtime to apply config changes?

Ted,
Unfortunately this is a limitation of the platform that the UC320 is built upon. At this time we do not have any way to circumvent this. This is definitely on the top of our list for consideration in future releases but it’s safe to say that we are not going to see it any time soon since it is a mjor design change. Please do check with us during GA of this product and we may have better understanding of timeline then.
Thanks for bringing in the feedback. Look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Navin,
Has there been any changes in plans for this? Is this the Linksys One product rebranded?
Thanks,
Mario

Mario,
In the GA product we will have the capability to do certain things without a reboot. The list of changes that can be made without a reboot will continue to grow over time.

And the UC320 is not related to the Linksys one or LVS9000 products. This is completely a new product.
