E-Mail notifications after "event cleared"?

Hi all,

Hopefully this isn't a repeat of a prior request/inquiry.  So, just curious if any thought has been given (or is there underlying functionality already in there that I'm unaware of) to send e-mail notifications AFTER an event has occurred and it's been corrected.  E.g. the bandwidth monitoring, DHCP monitoring, DNS resolution, etc. - we get alerts when these metrics are in the "warn" threshold - just curious if it's possible to also set it up to send some sort of notification once the fault or warn condition(s) have been corrected.

Thanks,

Hi Dave,

This is something that we are also considering and that is important to have in this product. The use case that made us include this feature request was PSA integration for Service Ticket management. Say for example that you have an event like "Software Upgrade Available" that triggers the creation of a service request in your PSA. You go to Thunderbolt and upgrade the Cisco device. When you are done, and only if you have elected to do so, a new event, "Software Upgrade Complete", will trigger the update or closure of the support ticket.

We are tracking this feature as "Remediation action should also trigger an event" and we will consider its implementation for after the Trial.

Thanks a lot,

Marcos
