First power up (out of the box)
1. On power up power light is solid then blinks during bootup then returns to solid
2. WAN and Wireless solid after boot
3. Default cisco/cisco username/password DOES NOT WORK.
Cycled power three times then decided to factory reset
Power up after factory reset
1. Power light solid then flashing then OFF
2. No wireless light / no wireless network visible
3. Hardwire on any port flashes connectivity on both router and PC for .5 seconds then goes dead for 20 seconds
Assuming that there was something wrong, I gave the router 5 minutes. After no change, I cycled power again.
After this power cycle
1. Power flashing then solid
2. Wireless solid
3. LAN port solid where connections exist
4. Login to router with default username/password WORKS.
Initial 192.168.1.1 visit via browser prompts for invalid certificate / certificate error. Importing certificate as Trusted Root Certificate Authority does not clear error.
