Hello all, all has been well until I had to redo the home network.
Now I can not get the Sx200 to Factory Reset.I followed the factory reset instructions and It asks for user and password and I enter cisco / cisco but it fails to login. The original install did not like my network as I had to hard code an IP to get to see the router. It did not seem to want to DHCP the IP at first.
Is there any way to get back in to the unit??
Besides that this unit is stable. Been running strong .
Thanks,
Richard

Update ---
Even after a full factory reset it kept the password I set. It did not revert to full factory default. I was able to gain access to the router.

Richard,
I thought it should reset user/pw as well. Will check it out. Just curious, what's fw version of your switch?
Thanks,
Don

Richard,
I tried factory reset the switch and it seemed to be working as expected.
All setting is returned to default including its userid/pw which is cisco/cisco.
Typically you would want to hit and hold the reset button until all ports' LED light up and then release it. Please try again and let me know if you're still having problem.
Thanks.
