While doing Networking Basics for CCST Cybersecurity i have encountered a Problem/Bug with the final quiz 11.3.3 for module 11 in beforementioned Networking Basics.
The question is as follows: "Which message does an IPv4 host reply when it receives a DHCPOFFER message from a DHCP server?"
The choices are;
- DHCPACK
- DHCPDISCOVER
- DHCPOFFER
- DHCPREQUEST
I choose DHCPREQUEST since that should be the reply to DHCPOFFER, given by the video 11.2.1 DHCPv4 Operation, earlier explaining this exact topic.
That video puts these in the following order: DHCPDISCOVER -> DHCPOFFER -> DHCPREQUEST -> DHCPACK.
The Quiz accepts the DHCPOFFER as the right answer, which it should not be since it was specifically asked for the reply to the DHCPOFFER received from the DHCP host.
English is not my Native language, maybe you could help me understand if i read something wrong or if it really is an error in the program.
