Does anyone know if a fix is in the works for this third party backup issue?

Having the ability create snapshots of the VM during an ISE patch or upgrade would be so much of a time saver if something were to go south during the process.

Have not seen or heard of any fix but we're on 2.6p3 and experience the same thing.  In order to speed up redeployment of ISE in cases of failure requiring restoration of a backup, I've created templates from the ova's in vsphere.  haven't had to use one yet, (knock on wood) but keeping them on the sidelines just in case...

Does anyone know if Veeam using Direct SAN access is able to backup ISE?  Direct SAN should not have to quiesce the file system.
