CSCvo12056 - C9300 - Stack cable authentication failed for cable inserted.

Hello,

 

I am experiencing this bug with x4 Cisco 9200L-48P-4X in stack running on 16.10.1.

 

Is there a fix for this at all? The problem persists in the newest code. At current state can not go into production, a very urgent project is being delayed. Thank you.

I seem to also be running into this problem on a pair of C9300's running [Everest], Catalyst L3 Switch Software (CAT9K_IOSXE), Version 16.6.5

 

I believe I have narrowed it down to a faulty stack cable.  I will be opening a case to have the unit replaced.

Yes it was a bad stack cable.
