CSCvr15073 - Cisco FXOS, IOS XR, and NX-OS Software Cisco Discovery Protocol DoS Vulnerability

According to what's shown here, this vulnerability affects Nexus 7000 series running NX-OS version 6.2, with a first patched version being 6.2(24).

However, on this other link it says that only 6.2(1) is affected?

I really don't want to patch if it's not necessary.

It also doesn't help is that the bug ID CSCvr15073 isn't listed in the resolved caveats section for 6.2(24) either.

Never believe any information in Bug IDs because it is rarely updated and hardly correct. 
If one has a valid Service Contract to raise a TAC Case, don't be afraid to use it.
