we have the same problem on some Windows 7 and Windows 10 workstations: many GB of files were generated in the C:\Program Files\Cisco\AMP\tmp and it's impossible to delete them because they regenerate himselfs.
No false positives or other warnings reported by the cloud console.
We was forced to uninstall AMP from these workstations and we are monitoring the rest of the hosts in case of problems.
At the moment, the only solution finded on the Internet is restarting the AMP services, but if the free space on the hard disk is completely fulfilled it's impossible to put into practice.
