Hey all,
I have been working on deploying Biamp and Cisco AVB Solutions for the past 6 years and the most difficult part of it all is staying up to date on what IOS Version and configuration items to be running to be in compliance with Biamp and Cisco to support AVB.
First off, I have been using the following article as my bible to stay in compliance with Biamp: Enabling AVB on Cisco Catalyst Switches - Biamp Cornerstone
However, I have found out recently this appears to be out of date.
I did some research and found not just the bug noted in the title of this discussion, but many others that have been found and resolved in newer versions of IOS that Biamp claims Cisco recommends.
I pose the question to all, what would you recommend as the best Cisco IOS release for AVB support when utilizing Biamp's AVB capable products? In addition, if it is beyond 16.12.4 please share any additional resources or configurations needed if applicable.
I wish I could get a straight answer from Biamp but they are pushing me to using their own proprietary AVB capable switch.
