CSCvx76922 - During Upgrade Without Switch Version Subscriber Upgrade Hangs

Does anybody have additional information on bug CSCvx76922, it mentions "If switch version is done first on the Publisher, this issue will not be seen." but the sequencing says to upgrade the publisher then upgrade the subscribers and then reboot switch.

Anybody have any advice on this?
