hi team,

 please advice why im getting the error. i have found one BUG in cisco site. this is because of bug or not.

error message:

What sort of device do you have?

Nearly always this is a software defect, and if your device is under Cisco maintenance you should upgrade to the next gold star release.

The most recent gold star release is 15.5(3)S1a (the prior gold star release is 15.(3)S4).  If you are running less than this I would suggest to try upgrading to it.

Unless you are running a gold star release it is not worth investigating further.  It is almost certainly a software bug.

You need a Cisco support contract such as a SmartNet for your device.  Then you can download the new software yourself. If you don't have a contract I would get a price for one from your favourite Cisco partner.

You should never get a traceback.  They are usually software bugs.  Remote chance of it being a hardware issue.
