Lets get the conversation started with Kanyatta...
āLimitless"
In high school, I was interested in occupational therapy and planned to major in it. I took the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) aptitude test with a friend who wanted to join the army. The military recruiter told me my scores were excellent, and I could do anything I wanted to, except be an engineer. This piqued my curiosity; I changed my major and graduated with a degree in software engineering technology and haven't looked back.
Stay curious and don't limit yourself. I realized my work isn't defined by a title, so I seek opportunities where my transferable skills can shine. I focus on my strengths and collaborate with others who have different skills and perspectives. Embrace diverse thoughts and know you don't have to be an expert at everything.
Change can be challenging, especially when updating technology or processes. At a previous employer, we trained our development team to implement new systems. Upskilling current employees benefits the company by retaining loyal staff and reducing the costs of training new hires.
Educate women and young girls early about opportunities in technology. Encourage them to pursue their goals and take risks. If offered a challenging learning opportunity, lean in and give it a try.
Believe in yourself......... āWe all have vast potential inside of us, untapped levels of strength, intelligence, and focus, and the key to activating these superpowers is unlimiting yourself.ā - Jim Kwik

@veletur My faith often inspires me. I've learned that leadership is about serving others, and I try to live by that principle daily.
Is it possible that AI will replace our jobs? Perhaps. Throughout my 26-year career, I have witnessed roles being taken away by technology. Nonetheless, I have also observed the creation of new positions due to technological advancements. Therefore, my advice is to educate oneself about AI or any emerging technology and explore potential future roles that may become available.

Thank you, Kanyatta, I strongly agree on that! I believe, you can't be prepared to everything, but you can prepare to act right when it happens. I've completed the AI Solutions on Cisco Infrastructure Essentials so far recently and want to continue on this path. Thank you for all the answers here!

"The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho follows Santiago, a shepherd boy, who learns valuable life lessons on his quest for treasure near the Egyptian pyramids.

Two questions:
1.
Mastering the English language continues to be a major challenge for many people for whom English is not their Native Language, which has an impact on their Professional lives (especially in the Technology Sector, where Certification Exams, Books, etc., are mostly in English).
How do you see this issue today and what do you envision for the Future regarding this ?
2.
I notice that the figure of a Mentor or Sponsor is very present in American Culture.
What could you say about the Mentors and/or Sponsors who made a difference in your Professional Career ?
