Basic concepts will stay pretty much the same. However, if you compare the device models and software discussed in that book - you will have second or third generation of those devices currently.
The concepts in the book should be pretty much valid, may be missing some of the recent software features or some features getting obsolete etc, (newer protocols etc) but these days you should be able to get a lot of information like video based tutorials/Books etc. online if you just do a google search or search on you tube. so instead of relying on an outdated book just use the current training material available.
