Hi,

I have been curious about CCIE certifications. Does anyone know how many Cisco Certified Internetwork Experts are there and also who has the #1 CCIE certificate?

The numbers start from 1024 onwards. The original lab was #1024, Stuart Biggs # 1025, Terry Slattery # 1026. At the moment the numbers are nearing 70xxx. I don't think accurate numbers are listed online anywhere. If there is a site, please do tell :-). At the end of the day, every number has a story behind it. It's not the number, it is the journey!

@m4rlung Stuart Biggs is generally acknowledged to be CCIE #1 for his work in developing the program, and Terry Slattery was the very first Cisco CCIE .
