For testing & learning purposes, I deployed an Intersight VA 1.1.6-0b to an ESXi 7 virtualization host. Deployment method is OVF template, with thin disk & small deployment option.
Designating the FQDN as intersight.dc.lab, I created the required A, PTR and CNAME entries (CNAME: dc-intersight.dc.lab). OVF deployment completed successfully. Name resolutions are OK.
However, there is NO HTTP/HTTPS connection to the guest. Nothing. Guest console shows up summary host info like IP address, default gateway, partition utilizations, etc. IP connectivity is fine. I switched to console diagnostic shell, did a connectivity test. Guest replies to ICMP. Guest is NTP synchronized. However, there is NO response to start the installation at web UI.
I will be happy if you point out the missing piece!
