I've attempted to reset the AP by pressing the Button mode for 30 seconds, while the POE cable was unplugged, but it failed. Additionally, the light on the AP is not working at all and when I try to access the command line interface (CLI), I'm unable to write or execute any command.
Can anyone assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you in advance!

Hi
The correct procedure to reset the AP should be press the mode button with the AP unplugged. While pressing the button, plug the ethernet cable, wait for 20 seconds and relase the button.
Make sure you did it right.

It appears that you are encountering a BootROM error message on a Cisco AP2802I-E-k9 device. This error message indicates that the Image checksum verification has failed. This issue could occur due to a corrupted firmware image, hardware problems, or a failed update process.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
1. **Check the Firmware:** Ensure that you are using the correct and compatible firmware version for your Cisco AP2802I-E-k9 device. If the firmware is corrupted, download a fresh copy from the official Cisco website.
2. **Verify Hardware:** Check if there are any hardware issues such as faulty memory or storage components. Physical inspection might be necessary, or you might need to contact Cisco support for further assistance.
3. **Update Firmware:** If the firmware is outdated, update it to the latest version. Follow Cisco's official guidelines and procedures to update the firmware correctly.
4. **Perform a Factory Reset:** If updating the firmware doesn't resolve the issue, you might consider performing a factory reset on the device. Be aware that this will erase all configurations, so make sure to back up your settings if possible.
5. **Contact Cisco Support:** If the problem persists after trying the above steps, it's best to contact Cisco's technical support for specialized assistance. They can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation.
Remember, working with firmware and hardware issues requires careful attention and expertise. If you are not comfortable performing these steps, it's advisable to seek help from a professional or Cisco-certified technician to avoid further complications.
