boot image from ftp ruter 4321

Hello

I have a router 4321 where i lost the image, and I try to run from ftp

I have executed those commands below but it says Device not found ftp:. The pathcord of the router and ftp are in teh same switch no vlan nothing no firewal and I conencted the router to teh intrerfave mgmt because it is the only one is linking when i conenct to the switch. what i missing here? regards

Try booting the firmware, from ROMMON, using the USB flash drive.  It is faster & easier.  

boot usbflash0:isr4300-universalk9.16.06.05.SPA.bin

thanks for the replay but it says device no found. i also noticed that if I plug a USB (I tried 2 different USB) it says the same. I have boot the image from FTP or tftp from other models but seems to be the router does not support or I missing something. I will appreciate any other suggestion

Is the USB flash inserted in USB port "0" or USB port "1"?

Hello Leo,

I know what was the issue. I was using an external 16 gb usb . I changed for a 4 gb and it is working, However, I am still thinking why the tftp is not working. The router has 3 lan interface gi0/0/0, gi0/0/1 and they never are linking and i conencted the cabnle in the mgmt which is linking when i connect tye cable but i can not ping the router
