Our enterprise have plan to implement BGP Routing with ISP providers for WAN Fail over and Load Sharing
We have two ISP Providers
TATA - 100 Mbps
Airtel - 100 Mbps
Tata is our primary link
Airtel is Secondary link
ISP providers request us to purchase Public ASN Number and /24 LAN Segment from IANA or RIR
Already we have /29 LAN segment from secondary ISP provider
Can we use the same /29 LAN Segment for both ISP Providers ?
Why do we need to purchase Public ASN Number from RIR or APnic ? Is that Mandatory ?
Why do we need to Use only /24 LAN Segment ?
Why not /29 or /28 LAN Segments ?
Is there any Specific Reason for LAN /24 Segment from IANA or RIR for BGP Routing between ISP to Enterprise Please let me know
