I'm inheriting a large number of old Cat 2960 switches, half of which the IOS is not crypto capable. All the switches were initially deployed in "install" mode, so all the subdirectory structures and such are in place on those devices. Since those switches are at EOL, I don't have access to original software from Cisco for those. My question is, can pull the .bin file from a ssh-capable "install" mode switch, copy it over to my telnet-only switch and boot it in bundle mode using that .bin file? i.e. are the install .bin the same as the bundle .bin?
