Cisco switch alternatives

Cisco switches seem so expensive. With so many competitors out there, why do they still dominate the enterprise market? I’ve always worked in Cisco environments, and they’re great. But what brands are quality alternatives for enterprise and for small business?

 There might be many answer for your question but surely the fact you are here asking  is one   reason why Cisco dominate the market.

 Buy a Huawei switch and then try to find a community like this to help you!  Or if you are a manager, install another vendor and try to find enginners to take care of your network.

I will not indicate any other vendor and I trully believe there might exist many other great vendors out there but basically I know Cisco switches only.
