My current firmware for my Cisco XB3 cable modem is

DPC3941_4.12p31s1_PROD_sey

Is this up-to-date? Thanks

firmware version must match requirements of  your provider

you must search your provider's website for the required/supported firmware
most of the time, the firmware is automatically updated at reboot
