I just installed the in place upgrade and managed to figure out sever issues but I'm stuck on this one error message.
"11:17:29 iosv-0: Failed to choose a suitable compute node (cml-controller is administratively disabled.)"
I'm not sure where to find how to enable cml controller.
if I could get some help that would be very appreciated.

I would check that the CML is still licensed, and if not, reapply the license.

I did that twice all is green and is showing properly working and registered.
Thank you for replying to my post.

By default, the upgrade puts the system in a "maintenance mode", with the compute node in a "Registered" state, both new to the 2.6 release. Do you have banner near the top of your CML dashboard that says "Planned System Maintenance"? If so:

Tools --> System Administration --> Compute Hosts

Select your compute node and change admission state to "Ready". Being able to deny new labs starting up is new to 2.6

Tools --> System Administration --> System Maintenance

Disable maintenance mode. Being able to put the system into a maintenance mode is new to 2.6.

Disclaimers: I am long in CSCO. Bad answers are my own fault as they are not AI generated.

Hi Ramblin Tech,
