I want to emulate internet by using Cable Modem and Cloud PT but pinging always results in host unreachable or request timed out. Here's my topology:
I'm not exactly sure if this is the correct setup.
In my investigation, it seems that the router doesn't know how to forward the packets to the cable modem. How do I configure this?

Not a good setup indeed. On this case, the modem and the cloud is layer1 and layer 2 device, they dont accept any IP addresses. The router should ping the server directly once the server is the next layer3 device on the topology.
But, it will not work. This blue cable is coaxial and it will not carrie ethernet traffic toward the server and the cloud, in order to communicate with the server will require a router with frame relay.
Modem and Cloud in Packet Tracer is to be training with old technology which now a days does not make much sense.
