I have a MDS 9000 switch I'm trying to set up. I'm trying to install Fabric Manager but hit one roadblock after another. All I can find for the latest version of this is 5.0.7. When I try to run it I get the message it needs a 32 bit OS. So I create a Windows 10 32bit VM. And now it looks like it only want Java 1.5 and Postgresql 8.2. Both these are really old. Postgresql apparently does not like Windows 10 because it wont install. Get a socket error even with no AV or Firewall active. I'm thinking I need to go all the way back to a windows 2003 server to install Fabric Manager on. Is there a better way to get this installed and if so, what are the requirements.

I ended up using Windows XP SP2 32 bit. Everything installed with no errors after that. Sad that I have to revert back to this OS.

I take it back. This did not work as well. What I finally did was take a VM and install Windows 2012 R2, manually install 9.3 of Postgresql and DCNM. DCNM would not install the DB so I had to do it separately. And you need to manually create a blank database before DCNM would install. So far everything is working but I have not connected any fiber yet between the systems.
