I'm interested in the OpenFlow feature for my Catalyst switches (Catalyst 3560 24TS).
According to realses note "The Cisco Plug-In for OpenFlow (OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3) feature is available in Cisco IOS XE Release 3.7.3E, and is not supported in Cisco IOS XE Denali 16.3.x"
It seems that I do need OpenFlow 2.0.4 and IOS XE 3.7.3E

However IOS version 3.7.3E has a "Release Deferred: Cisco engineering has identified at least one serious software issue with the release which you have selected..."

So, is there a way to get OpenFlow on Catalyst, securely?
Which version should I install? How?
