IOS Software for 2901 Router

Hehey Folks

I got a question about my Router C2901.

The IOS Version on it is from 2010 and i was looking for a current one and found the 15.7.3M5.

But i can't download it, without a service contract, so i go to the page for request and enter the SN from the router.

But always comes a error, error error error without any context.

So is there no way to update the IOS on the router ?

Hi

The only way to get the IOS is by having a support contract.
In some cases, you can check with your local SE.

On some cases, due to high risk security vulnerabilities, Cisco can give you the new version without any valid contracts. Check this link:

However it's granted on a case by case basis.
