Kindly assist with the below issue.
Is it possible to upgrade a cisco router currently running IOS Image c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M4a.bin to
c3900e-universalk9-mz.SPA.157-3.M7.bin.
What is confusing me is the difference in naming convention of the IOS files, ie. the installed IOS has an "M4a" and yet the one am planning to install is "M7".
And also the Installed IOS version has "c3900" yet the one am planning to install is "c3900e".
Kindly advise as if this Image will cause any misconfiguration.
