Hello,

I have recently upgraded Cisco ASR 920 from IOS (asr920-universalk9_npe.16.09.03.SPA.bin) to IOS (asr920-universalk9_npe.03.18.06.SP.156-2.SP6-ext.bin). Upgrade went successfully but router keeps on complaining with below messages in logs

Nov 7 09:10:33.891: %IOSXE-2-PLATFORM: R0/0: kernel: [1510264.630918] EXT2-fs error (device mmcblk0p1): ext2_lookup: deleted inode referenced: 46283
Nov 7 09:10:33.895: %IOSXE-2-PLATFORM: R0/0: kernel: [1510264.633474] EXT2-fs error (device mmcblk0p1): ext2_lookup: deleted inode referenced: 46284

Kindly assist what could be the issue.

So you downgraded from 16.9.3 to 3.18.6 and this error message comes up?
Kindly raise a TAC Case. This could be CSCvc10070.

Have you managed to resolve the issue?

I have the same issue. Per costumer query we need to downgrade 16.9.3 to 3.18.3. Below is a link for some restriction on ASR920 IOS downgrade. Our case doesn't fall into that. I assume we need to downgrade ROMMON as well even it's not necessary. It's still not resolved.
