Good Morning,
I was asked to upgrade the Cisco ISR1131 with the latest recommended versions. I had no issues with the router: I downloaded the IOS and followed the standard procedure for Cisco routers. However, regarding the integrated EWC, I’m not sure how to upgrade it or what software version to download. On the ISR 1100 download page, I can only find IOS versions related to the router, but nothing for the integrated EWC. This is the integrated EWC model: Cisco Catalyst C9800-AP Embedded Wireless Controller.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Regards,

9800 EWC is only compatible with Catalyst 9k switches.

What is the current version firmware version of the router and what is the intended version you want to upgrade to?
The reason why I'm asking is because there is a "trap". If the router is loaded with 17.3.X (and earlier) and is upgraded to 17.12.X (and later), the router will go into a boot-crash-loop.
The reason behind this is because Cisco has hidden the information that a router running 17.3.X (and earlier) must first upgrade to an intermediate version, like 17.9.X, before making the jump. This information is not available to the public.

Hello Leo,
I upgraded the router to the release c1100-universalk9.17.12.04.SPA. For the EWC, I’m attaching the show version output.
For the EWC software, I’d like to understand which version is the latest recommended by Cisco so I can proceed with the upgrade. Unfortunately, I still haven’t figured out which software to download.
Thank you.
