Hello everyone,
I am struggling to get a VG400 with IOS 17.12.02 up and running. I have made the necessary configurations, and everything seems fine. However, after the VG restarts, the interface Gi0/0/1 has a different IP address (192.168.253.253) than what I had configured before. The method is shown as TFTP.
After trying everything possible (resetting the interface to default and reassigning the IP address, checking the startup configuration in NVRAM before the restart, removing and reapplying the entire configuration (write erase)), I also removed the licenses, and lo and behold, the IP address is no longer automatically configured.
However, as soon as I activate the uck9 license, a DHCP pool is automatically created, and the interface Gi0/0/1 automatically gets an IP address.
After extensive research, I found out that this is related to Webex Calling.

The VG boots in Webex Calling mode, which is why a DHCP pool is created and an IP address is automatically assigned.
Does anyone in the community have an idea how I can prevent the VG from booting in Webex Calling mode? I want to register the VG on-premise with the Call Manager.
Thank you!

I found the solution: simply put 'no' before the webex-calling license and restart.
