Hi!

Im having a hard time verify what's the key difference between different upgrade versions for Cisco's wireless controllers. I've got the question myself from a company I soon will upgrade their WLC to a new version. They are currently running version: 8.3.112.0 and my recommendations is to go towards 8.3.143.0, due to Cisco's recommendations (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/8500-series-wireless-controllers/bulletin-c25-738147.html)

But the company I will upgrade the WLC's want to know whats the difference between 8.3.143.0 and 8.4.x.x , 8.5.x.x. Can anyone assist here..?

Br, Mike

1. Don't use 8.4.X.X..
2. Regarding 8.3 vs 8.5 will depend entirely on what APs you've got. Have you ready the Release Notes?

Ok, the AP's are 2700-series.
Ive read the release notes, but can't find the major difference or why they should use the 8.5.x.x from the previously 8.3.x.x.
