Need help to understand CISCO Firmware/Patch release schedule

Hello Team,
I have CISCO network devices in my infrastructure, wanted to understand CISCO Firmware/Patch release schedule.
Also CISCO recommendations to upgrade frequency on devices - Once in a quarter, twice in a year or once in a year.

Please suggest best recommendations for CISCO firmware upgrade.

Depends if the platform are end-of-sale or end-of-life or not.

Thanks Leo,

Actually I have few devices are EOL but support is valid till 2027. 

Have to prepare yearly maintenance plan for same so wanted to know what is by default release pattern from CISCO.
