Operation: restore, DB: /tmp/rp/tdldb/0/DMI_STATE_DB, Failure reason

Hello Cisco Community,

We upgraded two C9200L-24T-4X from 16.9.3 to 17.12.4 using Catalyst Center. The task in Catalyst Center was successful but a review of the logs shows an odd message never seen before:

%TDLDB-3-DBPERSIST_OPERATION_FAILURE: Switch 1 R0/0: repm: Operation: restore, DB: /tmp/rp/tdldb/0/DMI_STATE_DB, Failure reason: DB address size mismatch (32 bit vs 64 bit)

Can anyone provide assistance explaining what this means and its potential impact to the proper operation of the switches?

Thanks.

-Evan

Try this:

delete /force /recursive bootflash:.dbpersist/persistent-config.tar.gz
delete /force /recursive bootflash:.dbpersist/persistent-config.meta

 And then reboot the stack.

Thanks Leo. Can you provide some context as to what I am doing with those commands? Is there any knowledge base article that you can point me to where this was pulled from? Any risk with its execution?

Appreciate the prompt response.
