I am trying to set up a test for my class, where the students are free to enter any IP-Address for the Default Gateway within the subnet range.
I created a Number-Pool ranging from 1-254 and asigned it to the variable [[Oct4]] ("Entire Range").
I then created an Assessment Item in the Answer Network looking like this: Default Gateway: 10.0.10.[[Oct4]]
This works not as intended. The result is always marked as wrong, regardless of input.
If I set the numeric variable to the "Random" type, let it choose a value and the enter this value as the Default Gateway it works - but does not create the typ of exercise I am planning on.
What am I doing wrong? Tried it on PT 7.3 and 7.3.1
