I was trying to do the Cisco Course and I'm not able to do the first program.

I have to connect a PC and a Laptop to a Wireless Router and this one to a Cable Modem and this one to the cloud.

At the end I have to try the network with the "ping cisco.srv" from the PC and connecting the Laptop via Browser to "cisco.srv" but it doesn't work.

Do you know why? Can you Help me?

Thanks

P.S. Attached you can find the project and the instructions.

@botturimatteo05 hi, according to the instruction sheet you attached, there is no instructions to configure DNS. you need DNS to resolve cisco.srv. check with your instructor for any other re-requisites or if there is any pre configured pkt file for this activity.

Can u ping by IP ? If yes, then ping by DNS name. If not, then fix Network.

Make sure PC has DNS IP setup and correct IP.

I think we had 2, 3 similar problems with this here
