Hi all,
I'm encountering a repeated problem with some WS-based Supervisor Engine units.
When booting from a flash card, I am met with the error stated in the title, "Bad CPU ID 00041050". At this point, the system restarts.
Interestingly, I am not having the same problem with the VS-model units. I am consistently encountering this error with the WS models.
Any advice would be helpful,
Thanks

What is this Sup card? Is it a Sup2T or a Sup720.
The above error means the supervisor card attempted to load a firmware for meant the Sup2T.

This error message shows the supervisor card tried to read the firmware meant for a Sup720 but the firmware was corrupt.

Console into the supervisor card and post the entire boot-up process so we can see wht is going on.

I believe that one was a WS-SUP32. If not, it would have been a VS-720.
Understood re Firmware, thank you.
