In short, I am not ready to roll out Smart Licensing, so I do not want to use version 16.9.1 or higher yet, and I have been advised by Cisco not to use 16.8.1, as it too old and not in the SR any longer. With that being said, what would be the recommended software version to use? I've checked the software release notes, and it seems 16.6.7 may be an option, can anyone confirm that this version is stable?
