Ive spent hours trying to understand what I am doing wrong. I followed the instructions to a t. This is honestly ridiculous .
2.1.2 Packet Tracer - Create a Simple Network. Can someone helo me understand what I could have possibly done wrong? I don't think though I did anything wrong as I was just following the directions. ugh.

Same issue, lots of people are facing the same issue. But no one from cisco is responding. Interesting.

Get the PC (only PC) network settings, change it from DHCP to static and set the netmask to "255.255.0.0."
Seems like a bad case of copy/paste without proper review.

I found at a solution. I ping using the from the pc to ip address of cisco.srv, enter ping 172.16.1.2
I hope this helps. I am new too. Thank you.
I was able to get 100%.
I changed the following:
On the Cisco.srv
Set Cisco.srv
IP Configuration
Click on STATIC, set the following:
IPv4 Address: 172.16.1.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 0.0.0.0
DNS Server: 0.0.0.0
IPv6 Configuration
Automatic
Wireless Router
Select "Static IP"
Internet IP Address: 172.16.1.1
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 172.16.1.2
DNS 1: 0.0.0.0
DNS 2 Optional do not need to add anything
DNS 3 Optional do not need to add anything
Start IP address: 192.168.0.1
submask 255.255.255.0
Maximum number: 2
Ip Address Range: 192.168.0 2-5
Static DNS 1: 0.0.0.0
On the Wireless router select the wireless
Network Mode: Mixed
Network Name: HomeNetwork
Radio Band Auto
Wide Channel: Auto
Standard Channel: 1-2.41 2GHz
SSID Broadcast: Enable
PC
Static
IPv4: 192.168.0.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Default Gatewalk: 192.168.0.1
DNS Server: 0.0.0.0
Click on the Global Settings
Gateway/DNS Ipv4
Select Static
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
IPv6 click on automatic
Click on the FastEthernet0
IP Configuration
Click on Static
IPv4 Address: 192.168.0.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Click ond Ipv6
Click on Automatic

I found the solution. In my PKA the DHCP pool address was 192.168.0.x from Class-C IP address. So, I got 192.168.0.2 as IP and 255.255.255.0 as subnet mask. But it is very ridiculous that you have to set subnet mask 255.255.0.0 which is used for Class-B IP address.

I FOUND THE ERROR HERE:
The name of the devices must be as written on the instructions:
PC, Laptop and Cable Modem
They must be exactly like that otherwise you will get these weird errors.
