Hello,
I currently have a Cisco ASA 5506 I'm swapping out with an older 5505 that's having issues. That being said I've essentially copied the config for the most part from the old one to the new one.
What I'm currently running into is an issue where I'm plugging up my internet connection to the first interface which I've defined as my outside LAN. This is GigabitEthernet1/1 defined with an outside IP address from my ISP.
My second interface which is GigabitEthernet 1/2 is for inside LAN defined with an IP Address on my internal network. I have a small network switch on site that I would then plug into this port.
I have my DHCP scope and DNS servers defined correctly on the ASA, but I'm unable to get out to the internet whether I plug directly into the switch on site or into another open port on the ASA.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might be missing here ?
