Unable to enable ssh on Cisco ASR 1000

Hi Everyone,

I have two Cisco ASR1001-X . I have been trying to enable ssh on my routers. However, I am unable to do that. The current OS version on the routers is: /asr1001x-universal.03.16.02.S.155-3.S2-ext.SPA.bin   . Cisco IOS-XE

When I go to line vty 0 4. I see option only for telnet-> transport input telnet  . There is no option for ssh.

Also when I log into the routers. I do not see any option for command "crypto  ---- " .

Any idea what could be wrong?

Look at the filename of the IOS. The filename doesn't have the "k9" designation that it can support SSH.
You'll need to download the corresponding IOS with "k9".
