I am attempting to build my own home lab. I have two 2960s, two 3560s, two 1941 routers, and one 2821 router. My problem is I want to practice on serial interfaces, but the 1941 Hwics are to expensive for my right now. My question is, in one of the 1941 routers I have a T1/T3 eHwic card. I am wonder can I purchase a wic card for my 2811 router and practice that way, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have done research on the 1941 router and it does have wic slots, but when I look at supported serial cards it only list Hwics and EHwics. Is it possible that these slots are backwards compatible for wics. CCNP, 1941 Router, Serial Wic, Hwic, Ehwic,
