In today’s modern enterprise networks, is there any real reason to override default MTU size settings on network equipment? I’ve found one article talking about potential energy savings (DOI: 10.1049/cp.2010.0499), but otherwise the conversations tend to discuss SOHO networks or are circa 2010.
