Hello All,
Am I missing something here, or is the Prefix-List "remark" command consistently inconsistent between Cisco Models running IOS XE?
I find myself "banging my head" against the wall with Cisco IOS XE. I am in the process of removing traditional "Access Lists and Route Maps" used for route filtering and replacing with "Prefix-lists". When using "Access Lists" you have the option to add a remark to help with documentation and organization. Well, wouldn't you know it, when I switched to using "Prefix-Lists" on our ASR 1001x running Everest 16.04.0, it does not support "remarks", but after researching other models do.
For example the Cisco 9000 line supports "remarks".
router(config)# ipv4 prefix-list block-10
router(config-ipv4_pfx)# 10 remark Deny all routes with a prefix of 10/8
router(config-ipv4_pfx)# 20 deny 10.0.0.0/8 le 32
router(config-ipv4_pfx)# end
Thanks,
George
