Hello gents,

just want to verify on client page, devices are track by their mac right? In case the ip address of a computer change the tracking of app usage will continue right? Like the 2hrs 1day and so on on the app usage continuesly recording on the machine right?

It depends on what you have configured in the dashboard (Under SD-WAN -> Addressing & VLANS).

By default, clients are tracked by MAC Address, but they can also be tracked by IP Address or Unique Client Identifier. The following doc actually does a good job of calling out the different situations you might want to use unique identifier or IP, along with the limitations of each.

we dont use a meraki mx just layer 2 switches so base on the link u said they are track by mac
